It all begins with your idea. We’ll then liaise with you to put your idea for a wood project into material reality. From the selection of material right through to the type of finishing and delivery, we will be there to make the project run smoothly and to ensure you receive that very special piece.

Instead, you’ll be the proud owner of a unique piece of custom handcrafted real wood artistry devised by yourself in conjunction with our experts that can be passed down through the generations.

The Briefing & Creative Process

Once we receive your enquiry, we will get in touch with you using the email or telephone number you provided us. We can then discuss what it is you’re looking for. We will go over all the essential details such as size, material and finish. We will then write to you to confirm our understanding of your brief and lay down the core material specification and timelines as well as pricing for your approval.

Once we've agreed a final design, we require a deposit before commencing work. Once the deposit is received, the workshop production process begins in earnest. We will purchase the materials needed and start your bespoke wood piece. During the creation of the piece, we will send photographs/emails at agreed points to show you the progress, if you require.

Some clients like to see production updates, others like the element of surprise and only seeing the piece when completed. It’s up to you. Every piece we make requires a different process. We use a combination of modern and traditional techniques, a mixture of hand tools and machinery. The lead-times throughout the creative process depend on the scale and complexity of the project.
